Pet Ultrasound

Ultrasound is an advanced, state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging technique that is painless and noninvasive. Using sound waves, a computer image is generated that helps us to evaluate the internal structure of organs and common diseases. We are pleased to offer this state of the art testing at our practice. Ultrasound is used to better evaluate the internal organs such as the liver, spleen, gallbladder, kidneys, and heart. Our ultrasounds are completed by an internal medicine specialist, because he travels to our practice when called our patients receive the benefit of his consultation on their condition as well as his ultrasound expertise in performing the procedure.
